Let's start DREAMing

I still remember last time, when I was along with some of my friends discussing the questions asked to us in the Hr round. The one common question was "who is your role model?".Amazingly 80-90% were projecting A P J Abdul Kalam as their role models.
Its very much understandable if someone of my age takes a personality from films, sports, music, arts etc as a role model.
But on the contrary,Kalam sir has left aside all these people & emerged as YOUTH ICON(perhaps thats the reason why he was nominated for MTV YOUTH ICON).
For all those people who criticize saying that youth is getting spoiled and getting inspired by bad elements, this is an perfect example to show that their notion is completly false.
Many still think that he was succesfull and popular after 1998,but let me make you clear that he brought meaning to his life before I was even born.

On this note I would only like to HIGHLIGHT,the people behind Kalam sir's success, conditions which moulded him, inspired him etc.(most of his success stories are well known so I dont think I need to share those things).

Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam, popularly known as Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the son of a little educated boat-owner in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu, born on October 15, 1931.He was born into a middle-class Tamil family in the island town of Rameswaram in Madras state. His father,Jainulabdeen, possessed neither much formal education nor much wealth. He had an ideal helpmate in his mother,Ashiamma.she used to feed many people everyday, far more outsiders ate with kalam sir than all the members of our own family. He lived in his ancestral house, which was built in the middle of the 19th century. It was a large pucca house, made of limestone and brick,on the Mosque Street of Rameswaram.
He inherited honesty and self-discipline from his father, from his mother,he inherited faith in goodness and deep kindness as did his three brothers and sisters. It was the time he spent with Jallaluddin and Samsuddin which perhaps contributed most to the uniqueness of his childhood and made all the difference in his later life.It may be noted that Ahmed Jallaluddin was a close friend of Dr. Kalam and Somesuddin was his first cousins. He learnt leadership from three great teachers—Dr.Vikram Sarabhai,Prof.Satish Dhawan and Dr.Brahm Prakash.
